V. Joyce Lyons

V. Joyce Lyons, 70, of Lenexa, KS passed away in her home on May 30th 2018. Joyce was born on July 24th 1947 to Oren and Mary Reynolds. She's proceeded in death by her parents and three siblings. Joyce is survived by her husband Russell Lyons; her children Angie Duncan and her husband Mark Duncan and Kirk Lyons and his significant other Christina Nunn; her sister Mickey McGhee; and brother in law Michael McGhee; her grandchildren Jordan Lyons, Britnee Lyons, Nate Duncan, Lollie Krouse, Madeleine Duncan, Michael Duncan. Great grandchildren Braylee Lyons, Wyatt Desits. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; Dan and Bridget McGhee, Mike McGhee, Christopher and Heather McGhee, Scot McGhee, Sarah and Aaron Drybread. Numerous great nieces and nephews.
Joyce accepted Christ into her life at the age of 12 years old. She was a member of Shawnee Mission Baptist Temple.
Joyce loved her family unconditionally and she will be greatly missed.

Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on June 9th 2018 at Shawnee Mission Baptist Temple.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking contributions be made to Shawnee Mission Baptist Temple Youth Camp, 21533 Midland Drive, Shawnee, KS 66218.
