Van Welton Read, 61, passed away on March 23, 2015. He was born on October 12, 1953 in Hays, KS. He was a very hands on, hard working and loving father. His passion was passing on his knowledge to his children, architecture, woodwork, electronics, and outdoor activities. He is preceded in death by his father, Buster W. Read. Survivors include his wife, Margo K. Read, children, Bradley Read, Michael Beals, and Alexander Beals, mother, Winifred A. Read, brother, Glenn Read (Pamela, Aaron, Oliver, Phillip), and grandchild Edward James Michael Read.

Services

A memorial service will be held at The Amos Family Funeral Home on Saturday, April 4 @ 11 a.m. with a luncheon to follow.
