Vicki Lynn Epps

Vicki L. Epps, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Thursday, March 22 at her home.

Vicki was born October 29, 1946 to the late Burton and Dorothy Epps in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Southwest High School in 1965. Vicki loved spending time in the outdoors with her family. She enjoyed fishing and gardening, and going to garage sales. Vicki had a childlike enthusiasm for life and knew how to have fun. Vicki worked as a Trust Administrator for Mission Bank for over 25 years before retiring from the IRS in February of this year.

She is survived by her son, Jim Loucks, two daughters, Tonya Shrader and husband Bryan; Shanna Cupp and husband Michael; her companion of eleven years, Michael Cairns; 6 grandchildren, Sean, Alexander, Jarrad, and Shelby Cupp, Zachary and Lucas Shrader; four brothers, Ronald Epps and wife Sherry; Richard Epps and wife Laurie, Robert Epps and wife Sandy; Steven Epps; and one sister, Janelle Aldridge and many nieces nephews, family and friends.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association; 6800 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park, KS 66212.

Visitation and Services

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 27th, at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Westside Family Church, 8500 Woodsonia Dr., Lenexa, KS 66215. Vicki will be laid to rest next to her parents at Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, Kansas.
