Vicki Marlene Ferguson was born to D. Keith and Marlene F. Ferguson, on October 3, 1955, in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a lifelong resident of Overland Park, Kansas.

Vicki, graduated from Shawnee Mission North High school with the class of 1973. After graduation, Vicki became a licensed cosmetologist. She worked as a hair stylist for the next 35 years in various salons in the Johnson County area. She developed a devoted following of clients, many of whom were with her for the duration of her career.

Vicki enjoyed traveling and visited many locations throughout the United States and overseas. She had a lifelong love of all animals particularly her cats. She had a natural connection with animals. She rescued and adopted 2 dogs and a multitude of cats and kittens over the course of her life and was extremely loving and devoted to them all. They were lucky to end up w her as their human “Mom”.

Vicki, was preceded in death by her father D. Keith Ferguson, as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her mother Marlene; her brothers, Steven & Mark; her sister in law, Yvonne, her niece Stacey & fiancé Drew Mies; her nephew Brett & fiancé, Laury Daughtrey; and her great nephews Teagan & Tyler and lifelong friends Susan Whitaker Brown, Judy Creighton and Kathy Kracht Meinart.

Memorial Visitation

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, with a service at 7:00, on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Amos Family Funeral Home. Casual dress requested.
