Viktoria Kaitlin King

March 1, 2006 — June 16, 2019

Viktoria Kaitlin King was born on March 1, 2006 at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California. She was baptized into the Catholic Church at St. Michael's in Staunton, Illinois. She received the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist at St. Mildred's in Swansboro, North Carolina.

As a military child, Viktoria lived in many different places to include Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Nebraska, and Missouri. She loved dogs, especially her dog Jack, and would always ask to pet any dog she came across. Viktoria was a very talented artist and loved to draw, sketch, paint, create animations, video clips, and video edits. Her imaginative mind also led her to write numerous short stories. Viktoria enjoyed making videos and had posted over 100 of them under her YouTube screen name - Mlp 4me. She wanted to be a Multimedia Artist and Animator and had the talent, inspiration, and creativity to do so.

She was highly intelligent and a straight-A student all her life. Her scholastic achievements earned her entry into the National Junior Honor Society along with numerous other awards and certificates. She enjoyed swimming and was on the Platte City Middle School swim team and the YMCA Otters swim team. She loved music, played the flute, and was a self-taught pianist.

Viktoria had an exceptional sweet tooth and liked almost any type of candy. She loved My Little Pony, staying up late, hot and spicy foods, watching YouTube, and riding her bike.

She was loving, caring, thoughtful, and kind. Viktoria loved to decorate, especially for the holidays, and do things for others. She was very detail-oriented and meticulously planned nice things for the joy of her family and friends. Viktoria enjoyed dining out and shopping with her mom, being outdoors with her dad, and playing and going places with her brothers.

Viktoria was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Danny King. She is survived by her paternal grandmother, Helen King; maternal grandparents, Nick Swan and Tatyana Lebed; father, Travis King; mother, Olesya King; and two brothers, Brendan and Justin King. Viktoria was an amazing daughter with many talents and was deeply loved by her family. She will be forever missed.

A visitation will be held at Twelve Apostles Catholic Church, 17900 Humphreys Rd, Platte City, MO 64079 on Monday, June 24th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7:45 PM on Monday night. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Twelve Apostles Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 25th at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
