Virginia Ann Bernal

Virginia Ann Bernal, 64, Shawnee, KS passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2017 at her home.

Virginia was born March 8, 1952 in Kansas City, MO to Manuel and Olivia Perez. She was an avid KU Basketball, Chiefs and Royals fan. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.

Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Perez and brother, Manuel Perez, Jr.. Survivors include her husband, Robert Bernal; three daughters, Beatrice, Olivia and Samantha Bernal; mother, Olivia Perez, all of Shawnee, KS; and two brothers, William Perez and Michael Perez both of Overland Park, KS.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31 at St. Joseph Catholic Church; entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Monday at the Amos Family Funeral Home, where a rosary recitation will be at 6:00 p.m.
