Virginia Hagedorn Klenk

Virginia M. ‘Ginny’ Klenk, 90, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Monday, Aug 8, 2016 . She was born on Oct 31, 1925 in Glasgow, Mo. to Alvin and Minnie Hagedorn.

Virginia leaves behind her Son, James Erny, Shawnee, KS. and her Daughter, Linda (Ron) Drabik, Shawnee, KS., 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 Sisters, Ruth (Dave) Setter, Lucille Cox and Judy (Ron) Miller.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, John Klenk, her Daughter In Law, Yvette Erny, Grandson, Jimmy Erny, Brother, Hank Hagedorn and Sister, Marlene Van Nieuwenhuyse.

Visitation will be held Friday Aug 12 from 5-7 pm at Amos Funeral Home, where a rosary recitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Sat. Aug 13 at 9:30 am at Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Overland Park KS.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ginny’s name may be given to Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
