Virginia Maxine Lawson, born March 30, 1930 as Virginia Maxine Jones was welcomed to heaven on October 31, 2020. Throughout her 90 years, Virginia served her savior Jesus Christ by serving others every day. She shared the love of Christ as a pastor’s wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and successful banker. All of those that knew Virginia loved her and rejoice together as she is walking the streets of gold, perhaps in high heels or roller skates as she always envisioned. Virginia is survived by her adoring husband of 71 years Herbert Lawson, three loving children Judith Carey, Brenda Menefee (Dwight Menefee), and Mark Lawson (Keri Lawson), six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, three brothers, and one sister.
A graveside memorial service will take place Saturday November 7th at 2 pm at the Rock Prairie Cemetery in Halfway, MO (Google maps will locate). At this time Herbert Lawson, husband to Virginia is unable to attend or accept visitors due to the Covid restrictions.
