Virginia R. “Jennie” Luetjen

Virginia Roberta "Jennie" Luetjen, 76, Lee's Summit, MO received her heavenly reward Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021 at her daughter's home in Lee's Summit, MO.  The funeral service will be streamed live. Virginia was born Feb. 1, 1944 in Yuma, CO to George and Bessie Busing. Her life was devoted to loving and supporting her husband, and raising her children and grandchildren. She was a committed Christian who was known to be a tremendous soul winner and prayer warrior.  She was truly a minister of the Gospel.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin "Mark" Luetjen in 2016, son, Dale Luetjen in 2020 and brother, Ray Busing.

Survivors include her two daughters, Debbie (Dan) Stiegler, Lee's Summit, MO and Tammy (Jeremy) Jones, Shawnee, KS; brother, Bobby Busing, Sedalia, MO; six grandchildren and one great grandson.

CDC guidelines will be followed during the service but all are welcome to attend,  45 person limit in the chapel.

Visitation will be 10-11:00 a.m. with a service following at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25 at the Amos Family Funeral Home; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery. The funeral service will be live streamed and will be able to be viewed by clicking here.
