Virginia Lee Mcdaniel

Virginia Lee McDaniel, 90, of Shawnee, KS, passed away, Sunday, March 1, 2015.

Virginia was born March 9, 1924 in Atchison, KS to Roy and Pearl Webster Test. She married Clifford F. McDaniel on February 26, 1944 in Sebring, FL. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1999. Virginia was an allergy nurse who worked for Dr. Orville Withers and Dr. Stanley Goldman until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the Merriam Christian Church. She and Clifford were avid round dancers. She is survived by her children, Elaine Upchurch, Ronald (Lynda) McDaniel, Debra McDaniel, and Bryan (Sandi) McDaniel and four grandsons.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, at the Amos Family Funeral Home with burial in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
