Wanda Lee Jeffcoat

Wanda Lee Jeffcoat, 93, of Lenexa, KS passed away Friday December 18th, 2020.

Wanda was born May 2, 1927, to Theodore and Olga (Meyer) Brehe on the family farm near Bay, Mo. After graduating from Owensville High School, she moved to St. Louis where she worked at Deaconess Hospital. While in St. Louis she met and Married AD Jeffcoat. After moving to Arkansas, Oklahoma, and California they settled in the Kansas City area and later Lenexa, KS.

Both Wanda and AD were actively involved at Hillcrest Christian Church of Overland Park, KS. Together they raised their only child, Judy. She was the light of their life. Wanda and AD enjoyed travelling the world and square dancing, activities that kept them busy for many years.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Olga Brehe, by her husband AD Jeffcoat who passed away November 18, 1999 and brother Edgar Brehe who passed away November 6, 2020.

Wanda is survived by her daughter Judy and her husband Bob Dale, grandson Kelly Gamble and wife Janet and their daughter Amber Bachman, and grandson Trevor Gamble and his two sons Noah and Andrew.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 28th from 10:00-11:00am at Amos Family Funeral Home with a funeral service to immediately follow.  A live stream of the funeral service can be viewed by clicking this LINK.  The live steam link will start 10-15 minutes before the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hillcrest Christian Church.
