Wanda Satterfield

Wanda M. Satterfield, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away April 14, 2013.

Wanda was born June 7, 1932, in Dupo, Illinois, to V.W. and Icey Russell. She was the third of four children. She married Donald C. Satterfield on February 9, 1952. She worked her entire career as a bookkeeper for Unitog Brookefield.

Wanda is preceded in death by both of her parents, and brother, Robert Russell. She is survived by her husband, Donald C.; son, Don W. (Marlene); daughter, Deborah Close; grandchildren, Russell; step-grandchildren, Dianne Gant, Jessica Schroeder, Matthew Schroeder and Mollie Schroeder; great grandchildren, Tristyn and Celeste Satterfield, Holden Gant, and Haley Jo Schroeder.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.
