Wanda May Williams

Wanda May Williams, 83, of Overland Park, Kansas, died Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at her home. Wanda was born to James and Pearl Manire on August 17, 1929, in Groom, Texas.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, A.B. "Will" Williams. She is survived by her children, Craig Williams, Cinda Williams, Pam Williams and Lawrence (Carol) Jones; grandchildren, Nathan (Heather) Jones, Betsy (Michael) Barnes, Wes, Erik and Craig Meixelsperger, Tiffany Camarata, and Samantha Jones; great-grandchildren Nora, Collin, Tyler, Cory, Emma and Jane.

Wanda was one of the first residents at Tallgrass Creek Retirement Community and leaves behind many beloved friends.

Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2012, with the funeral service following at 1:30 p.m., at the Amos Family Funeral Home and Crematory. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 10, 2012, at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
