Wilber E. Holland, 91, passed away Jan. 16, 2015. He was born March 12, 1923 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Harry L. and Mary E. Holland. He was a long time educator and coach for the SM School District. Wilber is survived by his wife, Eula, sons; Thomas (Elizabeth) Holland, Gerald (Marla) Holland, daughters; Maria (Graham) Rolá, Christine (David) Gerson, Teresa (Gary) Onstad, step-son, Michael Tremaine, step-daughter, Colleen (Doug) Post, Jacquelyn (James) Strohkirch, brother, Dr. Woodrow (Patricia) Holland and nine grandchildren. Wilber was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Helen K. in 1999, brother Raymond Holland in 2010.
Visitation is set for 9:30-10:30 a.m., with a rosary starting at 10:15a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church 13615 W. 92nd Street Lenexa, Kansas 66215 with a Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 10:30 am. Burial will take place at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Wilber was a loving, kind, gentle husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and loved by all who knew him.
