William “Bill” D. Alexander

William "Bill" D. Alexander, 54, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 at his home.

Bill was born August 18, 1954 in Kansas City Missouri to Andrea and Jack Alexander. He graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1972 and was a member of two Shawnee Mission North State Championship Football Teams in 1970 and 1971. After high school Bill attended Pittsburg State University and received a Bachelor's of Science from Wichita State University.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jack in 1993 and brother, Michael, in 2006. He is survived by his son Jared, daughters Amy, Ashley and Whitney, his mother Andrea, brother John and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 W. 93rd Street, Olathe, Kansas 66212 or reStart, Inc., 918 E. 9th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106.

Memorial Visitation

A memorial visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 15, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee.
