William Devore

William (Bill) Devore, 84, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away April 23, 2010.

Bill was born in Kilmichael, Mississippi, on March 11, 1926. He served four years in the US Navy. He worked at and retired from O'Neill Oldsmoble. He was also an animal lover, who visited Shawnee Mission Park to watch the deer before sunrise. Search Bill Devore and deer at Shawnee Mission Park.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dell; sons, Jerry and Dale Devore; step-son, James Long; and sisters, Margaret and Sarah.

Visitation and Funeral Service

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm, Monday, April 26, 2010, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the chapel. Burial will be in the DeSoto Cemetery.
