William L. Krenzer

January 12, 1932 — December 17, 2018

Bill was born January 12, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in the Kansas City area. He attended De La Salle Military Academy. After school he joined the National Guard and later served in the Army during the Korean conflict.

He and Winona Woodrick were married in 1952 and they were blessed with five children.

He was employed by Western Specialty Company, David Beatty Hi Fi, owned and operated a Gulf Service station at 43rd and Rainbow, had a used car business in Kansas City, Kansas and later formed his own company, Tomahawk Amusement Company.

He enjoyed watching sports and traveling. He and Winona traveled all over the country, also Canada and Mexico, but especially liked the New England area and made many trips there. The restoration of old cars became a hobby that he actively pursued. He and Winona were members of the Heart of America Plymouth Owners Club where he served as president for several years, later as vice-president. They enjoyed many outings with their fellow old car enthusiasts.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Iva Krenzer, and by son, Jon. He is survived by his wife, Winona, of the home, and children: Jeff and wife Susie, Cindi, Joel and wife Jenny, and Keith, all of the Kansas City area. Four grandchildren, Kyle and wife Elyssia, Kara, Sam and Alison. Great-grandchildren are Ivy Rose and Lillian Winona.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Friday with funeral services following at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
