William “Bill” Martin

William "Bill" Martin, 60, of Lenexa, formerly of Wichita, passed away May 2, 2012.

Bill was born March 26, 1952, to the late Marcus and Ann Martin in Quinter, Kansas. After graduating from Quinter High School, Bill started a career as an over the road truck driver. He loved sharing the stories from the road with his family. Bill was avid "Trekkie" and loved watching and reading anything science fiction. Bill always dreamed of returning to his roots and running the family farm in Quinter.

Bill is preceded in death by his brothers, Harold Lee and Kenny Martin; and sister, Elaine Nedbalek.

He is survived by his daughter, Dedee Novak and husband Justin; a son Marcus Martin; step daughter, Michelle Watson; two granddaughters, Allison Novak and Ashley Lowe. Bill is also survived by his two faithful companions, Maddie and Odie.
