William (Bill) Joseph Kraft, 90 of Leavenworth County, KS passed away Wednesday April 6, 2022, at Country Place Senior Living in Basehor, KS surrounded by his family. He was born October 12, 1931, in Kansas City, KS to John F. and Frances S (Stillman) Kraft. He attended Turner schools.
In 1949 the family purchased a farm and moved to Leavenworth County. Bill made his living as a farmer, milking Holstein dairy cows, and raising beef cattle with his partner/brother Jack.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Charles and sister-in-law Betty Kraft, and brother John (Jack) Kraft. He is survived by his sister-in-law Frances Kraft, nieces and nephews, Debbie (David) Bergman, Diana (Steve) Tuttle, Dale (Teresa) Kraft, Pam (Verlin) Dunlap, Peggy Mance (Jeff Gilliland) and Brian (Diana) Kraft. Many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday April 13, 2022, 9:30 – 11am and funeral service beginning 11am at the First Baptist Church of Basehor, 1410 155th Street, Basehor, Kansas.
Interment will follow in Mount Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, KS.
Family suggests memorial contributions to the Leavenworth County 4-H, 613 Holiday Plaza, Lansing, KS 66043.
The family would like to thank the staff of Basehor Country Place Senior Living for their loving care of Uncle Bill over the past two years, along with the support of Evergreen Hospice.
