Willis S. Hunter, 93, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away, Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Sweet Life at Rosehill. Mr. Hunter was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a brakeman for the Chicago Great Western Railway before retiring over 30 years ago.
His wife, Gayle Hunter, preceded him in death in 2005. Survivors include a son, William Hunter and his wife, Rose, of Overland Park, Kansas; a daughter, Janet Hartsock and her husband, Paul, of Overland Park, Kansas; a sister, Marian Kennedy of Youngtown, Arizona; two grandsons, Andrew and Eric Hartsock and three great grandchildren, Asleigh, Carlyn and Brooks Hartsock.

Gravesides services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Antioch Cemetery, Merriam, Kansas
