Wilma E. Mcreynolds

Wilma Eubank McReynolds, 82, Merriam, KS passed away on Dec. 22, 2016 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for over three years.

Wilma was born on Apr. 5, 1934 to William H. and Marguerite F. Eubank. She grew up on the family farm in Shawnee. She graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in 1952. After high school she worked at the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen for a number of years leaving to dedicate her time to the family homestead. She was married to Donald C. McReynolds for 48 years and together they lovingly maintained her family's homestead including a large Christmas tree farm, a concord grape vineyard and extensive vegetable and flower gardens. Wilma loved all things in nature and was a sweet and caring soul.

Wilma leaves behind her sisters Marguerite (Charles) VanMeter of Bella Vista, AR; Martha (Leo) Moroney and Carol Eubank both of Merriam, KS; brother-in-law Robert J. Wise and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, her sister ElFrieda Wise and her brother William A. Eubank.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, Wed., Dec. 28, at the Shawnee United Methodist Church with services at 11:00 am. Graveside service immediately following at Pleasant View Cemetery, Shawnee, KS.
