Wilma Dean Parks

Wilma Dean Williams Parks was welcomed to heaven, on February 12th, 2019. What a great jubilation for her, but a “temporary” loss for us!   Wilma Dean was born April 21st, 1929 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the youngest of five children. She was preceded in death by her husband William Byrd of almost 61 years. Her son, William Dean “Billy” also preceded her in death at the age of 19.   She was a retired schoolteacher, and previous owner of Parks Interior Decorations.   Because of her love for Jesus, she taught Sunday School for many years along with serving Him in different ministries.   She will be greatly missed by her daughters; Betty Nevins and husband Ken, Brenda Smith and husband Jesse. Grandchildren;  Cammie Emberlin and husband Jon of Kansas City, Brad Thomas of Naples, Florida, Brandon Harris and wife Rebecca of Olathe, and Shelly Meadows and husband Aaron of Ozark Missouri. Great grandchildren; Conner, Nicholas, Gabriel, Charlie, Aiden, Hannah, Jackson, and Ashton.

Visitation will be 2 - 3 p.m., Saturday, February 16 at the Amos Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m.
