Yvonne Rhodes Peckman

Yvonne Peckman, 66, passed away on February 13th, 2017. She was born on July 21st, 1950 to Sidney and Vivian Rhodes. At an early age, Yvonne and her family moved to a military base in Texas. She was diagnosed with Lupus at age 15 but never stopped living life to the fullest. She lived in Texas for her adulthood and struck out on her own to go to Kansas City at age 20. In 1975, she met Lyman Peckman and they married on February 28th, 1976. In 1978, they were blessed with a healthy son, Steve Peckman. She enjoyed life and wanted to share that with others. Even through her battles with Lupus, she never complained and would not use that as an excuse. She will be truly missed by family and friends. Survivors include husband, Lyman Peckman; son, Steve Peckman; grandson, Stephen Jr; brothers, Sidney Rhodes Jr and Jimmy Rhodes.

Memorial Service to be held at Amos Family Funeral Home on Friday, 2/17 at 4:00 PM.
