Janet Lynn Ott

Janet Ott, 73, of Shawnee, KS passed away on November 6th, 2022.  She was born on July 3rd, 1949 in Kansas City, MO to Earl & Virginia Enloe.  A visitation will take place on Friday, November 11th from 12-1 pm at Amos Family Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 1 pm.  Interment at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens.

Janet married Terry Ott on May 31st, 1969.  They went on to have three children, Cindy, Jason and Kevin.  Janet’s number one priority in her life were her eight grandkids.  She loved spending any time she could with all of them.  Janet loved to travel and spent her summers at the Lake of the Ozarks where you could often find her fishing with her grandkids.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Connie Mitchell.  She is survived by her husband, Terry; daughter, Cindy Lutz, sons, Kevin (Katie) Ott & Jason (Laura) Ott; grandchildren, Taylor, Kaitlin, Jamie, Alexis, Nathan, Michael, Felix and Sofia; and sisters, Terry Kruger, Julie Clark, Cheryl Pettit.

Memorial donations in Janet’s name may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
